Anyone here invest in Bitcoin? XD I splurged a few weeks ago and made a nice profit so far. But I'm having my doubts about the long-term.
I think Ether is more promising in the long run (in terms of security, energy-efficiency and heck, even practical use) but I thought I might as well make some easy money off this Bitcoin bubble while it lasts. I only bought in last week when BTC hit $10k, because I am slow, so I'll probably cash out when it hits $20k.

That game was on my wishlist - good to know I can mostly just ignore it now! which is also a sad moment.
Oh, I don't think you should ignore it! It's still worth playing for the audio and visuals alone. I'd give the game as a whole 7/10 for that reason, and also the length of the game was mercifully short before getting way too repetitive.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker. The only 3DS game I know of whose title alone is enough to exasperate an unknowing Gamestop employee.
The most noticeable change to the game is the lighter tone. They've definitely eased up on the oppressive atmosphere this time around, and that's thanks to the extra personality given to the characters. Everyone is more willing to crack jokes and mess with each other, and that makes them far more endearing to me than the cast of the first game. I love that the MC has more personality this time around. In the first game, most of the dialogue options you had were just variations of the same overall intent. Now, I can be serious, lighthearted, or a troll to my party members.
Yeah I'd agree that the game seemed as a whole a bit more light-hearted than DeSu1. Also notable is how in the first game, the characters were all stuck in Tokyo, whereas in the latter, the characters are facing a threat to the whole of Japan, so there's a lot more cooperation between the cities and people within the cities.
Oh and I agree with your point about the skill set configuration being really tedious - I can't say I remember anything about the music sounding quiet. It's been four years since I last played it though...
[Poll] Battle of Final Fantasy leading men, FF7 & FF8!
If they live on different planets and don't go anywhere (one planet to the other or vice-versa), how are they even supposed to fight? I call shenanigans. What a farce.

Also, when they get stuff on each disk is also irrelevant and yellow magic is going to be exiled from the FF/warhammer RP guild for this. first of all when they obtain things has no bearing on the characters themselves. it's not because of squall or cloud's 'ability' that they get things when they do. that's just where the items are placed in the rpg world for some reason. secondly, a 'disk' is a measure of data, not time. each game's 'campaign' takes an unknown amount of time, possibly several months, possibly just weeks. thirdly, and most importantly, none of the above matters because we are either taking them both at the beginning of the game or both of them at the end of their respective games.
I think it's very important when they get the items: The question isn't "who is more able", it is who would win in a fight. Sun Tzu-sama said in one of his books somewhere that "Preparation is the key to victory" (Did you know? Abraham Lincoln cited that too), hence the obvious winner between the two would be who gets prepared the fastest.
I think it is fair to say that both campaigns take place with roughly identical intervals of time between exposition scenes (there's no big time skips or anything are there, hence because of how quickly Squall could obtain a Lionheart versus Cloud's "Ultimate Weapon", Squall would have the advantage in terms of a pre-emptive strike.
Alternatively if Squall put aside his need for a fair fight, instead opting for the least risky way to GET THE JOB DONE (his trademark thing), he could just ambush Cloud when he's in his PTSD wheelchair-bound state.
The numbers don't like CAVE_DOG...or should I say CAVE_DUNCE *Won't be fooled again*
ADDENDUM:
thirdly, and most importantly, none of the above matters because we are either taking them both at the beginning of the game or both of them at the end of their respective games. Why? Who makes these rules?? If it doesn't come from Vince McMahon it doesn't count
What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
I'm currently playing VA-11 HALL-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action.
The aesthetics are definitely the best bit of the game. Those PC-98 homage graphics and that fantastic soundtrack...getting goosebumps just thinking about it.
It's unfortunate that the rest of the game has been somewhat meh so far (I'm 7 hours in). In the first couple of hours are so, I felt really immersed in the world of Glitch City...a couple more hours in and while there's some good world building stuff in many places (what a crapsack world these characters live in), there's a lot of unnatural-sounding talk about each other's breasts and past relationships or whatever.
And don't get me started on how bad the gameplay aspect is...I'd much prefer something like Ore no Ryomi 2: The Restaurant, or the follow-up, Cook, Serve, Delicious, where the quality of the actual drinks can vary. At most, all you can really do is either get the order completely wrong, or serve varying quantities of the alcoholic element.
In other news, I just found out that there's a sequel to Cook, Serve, Delicious! So I know what's next on my backlog...

I think Solitayre put it really well in terms of the personalities of the two characters.
From Disk 1, Squall was a highly-trained combat individual with a strong sense of duty. If someone like Headmaster Cid told him to do it, he'd probably beat the shit out Cloud just because he was asked to....whereas Cloud would be like "Gimme Gil LOL"
Also the Junctioning is a really good point. Plus, Squall could obtain his ultimate weapon on Disc 1, and he can R1 on attack for massive damage with each hit. Cloud needs to get that dumb Knights of Round summon to do anywhere near that kind of damage. So I think it's a no-brainer.

Is there Something Wrong with me? Am I just not a good dev?
Why are we not mentioning the username of this particular reviewer? I Ctrl + F'd "Indrah" right after reading one half the second paragraph in the OP and found nothing.
Piano, you're not the only one: I felt the same way after Indrah LP'd my IGMC entry a couple years back.
There is definitely something to be said about accepting criticism, but let's be honest: Some people are much better at criticising than others.
PS: No, making such a video for "the wider audience, not the original gamedev" isn't an excuse. Obviously the original gamedev is gonna end up as one of the wider audience!
